Rice, egg, and, sausage breakfast bake

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups brown rice, cooked
  • 1 pound hot Italian sausage
  • 1 small onion
  • 6 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:

  1. Combine rice, sausage, and onion.
  2. Spoon into baking dish.
  3. Combine eggs, milk, and salt. Pour over rice.
  4. Top with cheese.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 – 35 minutes.

Dehydrate:

Spread on covered dehydrator trays and dehydrate for 5 1/2 hours at 145 degrees.

Yield: Serves 6

Rehydrate:

  1. Cover rice in pot and soak for 5 minutes.
  2. Light stove, bring to a boil, and cook for 1 more minute.
  3. Rest for 10 minutes.
