Hot breakfast couscous

Ingredients:

  • 2 ¼ tsp. powdered milk
  • ¾ tsp. sugar
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • ¼ cup couscous
  • 1/8 cup raisins
  • 1 Tbl. slivered almonds

Directions:

  1. Combine milk, sugar, cinnamon, and couscous in a 4 x 6 plastic bag.
  2. Combine nuts and fruit in a 2 x 3 zip style plastic bag.
  3. Enclose the smaller bag in the larger bag and seal.

Yield: Serves 1

Rehydrate:

  1. Boil ¼ cup water.
  2. Add couscous.
  3. Set 5 min.
  4. Stir in fruit and nuts.
